Around the Creative World (11/4/09)
November 4th, 2009
Wait a minute…it’s November? What the?
Anyway, here are some links to the creative worlds of entertainment, advertising, marketing, Internet and more. But first, I have to go pre-heat the oven for the turkey.
OK. I’m back. Here you go:
- Johnny Depp is in talks to star with Angelina Jolie in “The Tourist.” I have no idea what “The Tourist” is about, but I hope it’s nothing like “Secret Window.”
- CollegeHumor.com. A Ben Silverman joint?
- Get a free Weezer Snuggie with Weezer’s new album… Seriously.
- BrandFreak: Beatles to be made available digitally, just not the way you want
- Now you can fly to Australia via Qantas and hear Elmo’s voice! I’ve done that flight without Elmo’s voice. It’s long enough.
- You know those Verizon “There’s a map for that” ads? AT&T isn’t happy, at all.
- Taylor Swift is set to host SNL. Here are some promos that are actually funny–including a Kanye West joke that is funny because it’s obvious.
- Twitter has a new feature they are testing with select users…in case you care. It’s not like Eleventh Hour or I am on Twitter, or anything.
Brian Laesch compiled these links from the middle of nowhere, Texas… Seriously.
